LOL They may be cute but they are hard to take care of. They are expensive to maintain and when they bite they bite hard! Definetly not a bird to impulse buy LOL

hehe. Yah, so I've heard, but still very cute. A friend of mine has one and it climbed up my pant leg to sit on my shoulder. I love them.

LOL Ya I love them to. But it is not just macaws that make great companions. The smaller ones like quakers, conures and even tiels are wonderful fun pets. Just make sure when you do you get a parrot,
get a good socalized handtame one from a breeder who will help you through any problems you have.
Warning though, parrots are like pringles. You can't have just one. They are addicting.

That is a seriously beautiful bird - and it looks like he/she knows it!

and I know what you mean about addicting...I'm slave to 3 cockatoos (two suphur crested and a rose breasted cockatoo)so far!!!!!
